Human Resources Manager Requirements: -100K -20+ years of experience required. -Bachelors Degree required. -Generalist experience preferred. -Must have union manufacturing experience including grievances, arbitration contract negotiations, liaison with business agents. -Food Industry experience strongly preferred. -Knowledgeable in local, state and federal laws and regulations regarding employment practices, EEO, ADA, Affirmative Action. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to effectively manage diversity in the workplace. -Lean/Six Sigma experience strongly preferred. -Excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience developing the HR staff. -SPHR, PHR certifications is a plus. -Familiar with HR metrics (HR key performance indicators). Job Duties: -Evaluating and improving the HR programs in a manufacturing union environment by developing strategies to improve employee satisfaction, management-employee relations, and working conditions. -Directing staff employees, supervising direct reports, conducting performance reviews, and coaching, training, and coordinating work assignments. -Overseeing the union contract, policies and procedures. -Providing conflict resolution for employee issues. -Recruiting and hiring qualified candidates following EEO and ADA hiring guidelines. -Overseeing the Affirmative Action programs. -Evaluating training programs to identify specific training needs. -Conducting periodic meetings with employees and management personnel.
